Software that collaborates with each other with Interoperability

For an accelerated, progressive and affordable digital transformation.

Do Your Management Software Communicate With Each Other?

The challenge for your company is to effectively coordinate all the different management tools it has access to on the market. Although these tools individually bring management ease to the different spheres of the company, they are often under-exploited from an interoperability perspective.
  • UPenterprise intervenes in the management processes of each of its clients and to achieve synergy between the functions of each department.

Thanks to the presence of a form ofinteroperability between their management tools, the companies we work with are gradually integrating automation into their business processes. Our clients then obtain productivity gains at all stages of their growth.

What is interoperability?

Interoperability is the ability of a product or system, whose interfaces are fully known, to work with other existing or future products or systems without restrictions on access or implementation. A distinction must be made between "interoperability" and "compatibility". To be simple, we can say that compatibility is a vertical notion that makes a tool work in a given environment while respecting all its characteristics, and interoperability is a transversal notion that allows various tools to communicate - when we know why and how they can work together. In other words, we can only talk about the interoperability of a product or a system if we know all its interfaces in full.

What is interoperability?

Interoperability is the ability of a product or system, whose interfaces are fully known, to work with other existing or future products or systems without access or implementation restrictions.

In the past, managers had to do their administration manually. Now, thanks to the abundance of applications and management tools available online, we can recreate everything that an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system would have done for us.

An SME can therefore acquire an automated invoicing system or a cloud-based accounting system at a low cost while maintaining a certain internal rigor, because such software no longer requires the purchase of an expensive license. All you have to do is pay a subscription fee to start using it, in the logic of software as a service (SaaS). As long as the company pays its monthly or annual fee, it can enjoy the service.

The advantages of SaaS are multiple. We can talk about cost savings, because they do not require any upfront costs. We can also talk about accessibility. Furthermore, all data is always there, without duplication from one software to another. The most important advantage is probably the growth with use. Indeed, it is possible to add users or to access more advanced functionalities as and when one feels the need.

The good news is that most of the drawbacks can be overcome by using a certified SaaS consultant or specialists who know about interoperability.

  • Have a plan of what you want to accomplish in a more automated and structured way in the short and medium term.
  • Choose your SaaS software based on its ability to integrate with other software you covet for the present and future.
  • Surround yourself with specialists in cloud software, automation and interoperability in various fields (business management, IT resources, accounting, project management, etc.).
  • Vous intéresser à la démarche et y prendre part; le détachement est le pire ennemi de l’automatisation.
