We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled WordPress Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of various WordPress projects, ranging from one-time waterfall projects to ongoing agile developments and service desk tasks.

What You Will Do

• Lead the charge – Take ownership of WordPress projects, guiding them from initiation to completion while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Dive deep into WordPress – Utilize your in-depth understanding of WordPress logic to manage projects effectively, navigate the WordPress backend, and write precise acceptance criteria and task descriptions tailored for WordPress development.
• Utilize AI for efficiency – Leverage AI tools to generate and refine task descriptions, acceptance criteria, and evaluation breakdowns, ensuring precision and clarity in project execution.
• Optimize project management with ClickUp – Leverage your ClickUp expertise to streamline workflows, enhance task management, and improve team collaboration. You will play a key role in standardizing and optimizing ClickUp processes across the organization.
• Be an organizational champion – Manage project backlogs, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clear overview of all project activities with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate and communicate – Work closely with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Lead high-traffic e-commerce projects – Oversee the development of complex e-commerce websites for international customers.

What You Will Need

• WordPress mastery – Proven experience in managing WordPress projects, with a strong understanding of WordPress core functionalities and best practices.
• ClickUp expertise – Hands-on experience using ClickUp for project management, including task management, workflow optimization, and team collaboration.
• AI proficiency – Ability to utilize AI tools effectively to create detailed and structured project documentation, including task descriptions and evaluation criteria.
• Exceptional organizational skills – Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – Ability to convey technical and non-technical information clearly to different stakeholders.
• Adaptability – A flexible approach to project management, thriving in both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Location & Accommodation

This position is based in our Moratuwa office. Candidates must be located near Moratuwa or be willing to relocate and work on-site from Monday to Friday. Comfortable on-site accommodation is available for those who require it.
